The place is an Indiana tradition. A "best kept secret" for over 50 years. Unfortunately the secret got out a few years ago. Its just not constructed for such crowds. We visited on a Saturday during Swiss Days. Not a good idea. It was packed. I miss the days of being able to swim up to the fun water activities and hop on. Hoping after the novelty dies off it will return to a sane state again.
For the price, it is what it is. The water was very green & smelly. My overall concern, myself and 4 family members were bitten by something in the water. Nobody saw what it was, but it drew blood & left marks.
It was a 3 hr drive each way. Not worth it. I'm sure it's a great spot for locals.
Definitely a must visit. My kids r entertained here all day know matter what age
This place is awesome. My kids had a blast, love that it's on a lake since my kids are sensitive to chlorine at normal water parks. Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner, but it didn't ruin our trip at all. Great prices on food and admission!! Splash pad was a hit!
This place is pretty cool! The only thing I didn't like was the quality of the water. It was kind of green and smelly.
