If I could give this company less than a 1, I would. They were contacted last winter to fix an issue with our heating system. We were told the heater needed to be shut down and the system completely cooled so they could cut a line and fix it, so they would come back this summer to fix it. I called them back 3 weeks ago and the secretary told me someone would call me back to discuss a time for them to come back out and look at the job again. 2 weeks ago, I called them back because nobody called me, and after apologizing, the man told me he is the guy who does this work and set up to come to our home last Thursday "between 7am and noon". Nobody called, nobody showed up. When I called them, I was told that they had "a truck issue" so he missed the appointment and they would be here today to do what needed to be done. I demanded an appointment time to avoid wasting my whole day again, and I was told 7am. At 10am this morning, I called them because again, no call no show. The secretary passed me on to another person, who told me the boss said they couldn't do this project because it's "old equipment and too time consuming". I was told the boss would call me back "after a meeting, and later in the afternoon, I was called back by the same man I spoke to the the morning, informing me the boss was "on a job" so he was calling me back. They wanted to drag this out another "week-week and a half" until someone could get here "And it still may not work". I called another company and told them the situation and the equipment involved, and I was told this is a time involved but manageable issue, can be completed. Very disappointed with Don Myers plumbing and heating, have been a customer for years, as was my family. Obvious the newer management has lower standards of how it is acceptable to treat a customer, because Don never treated his customers this way. So if the equipment is "older or is too time involved", not new construction, I 100% recommend a different company. The "boss" never 1 time spoke to me to address this issue, kept pushing it off to other employees.
