Love this school so much! It is amazing and 99% of the teachers are 100% committed to their students, and I think that makes the school truly amazing. Some teachers can be trying but overall it is a really great. However, we don't get sauce anymore... #Bring Back The Pumps #Bring Back The Sauce
When myself and my friends have had break downs in front of staff but nothing is done, then there's a problem. If my friends can't take classes that'll encourage their future passions because this school tells them they either can't or won't be worth it then there is a problem
I would of gave it one star but they let me ride my Heelys around so that's one chill thing I guess. Main thing at South Adams that drives me crazy is how hard it is. I myself try pretty hard for mediocre grades. It's annoying when I have to deal with my friends because they are constantly having mental breakdowns because of how hard the school is. For real, chill on the homework. it isn't helping.
i DO not mind this school except for 1 teacher the math teacher if you try asking a question she wont explain how to do it or if you go there during study hall she yells at you for comin other than during her class but if u ask her a question she will tell you to wait and wont evan tell you then.
to strive was apparently yesterday. the teachers do care in some ways, but for our education as individuals and our health, i really believe not. to be honest, they show motivational videos of all sorts, yes, but do teens actually take those things and ponder their actions just on a video? the teacher's reputation needs to be kept motivated all the time, and the initiative the teachers take is average. i, myself, as a student of South Adams, have broken down in class because the amount of stress put onto me. i have many issues at home, many many issues, but yet when you're still written up for things like detention or ISS, it makes you feel even more fore-granted. when i think about my education, i just know there really is no future unless i go my own way within the school, and teach myself how to be successful, because this school doesn't help me in any way. my friend was written up for detention, but yet the teacher said to her a few days ago that she realized how much stress my friend was in. but, a couple hours later she gets a detention slip and starts bawling because she thought the teacher cared. she might've, but does she even realize how bad it hurt her, with things going on at home? why teens misbehave here, is because the mentors really do not care to help. The Crossing most likely helps more than South Adams, because The Crossing cares about the teens home lives and their personal problems. why should South Adams differ in that aspect to The Crossing? there are so many things i could go on about, but yet nothing is ever solved in this school. i have built such a lack of confidence within this school. i just hope these teachers understand that a grade that they give their student, doesn't ever define their intelligence or their personality as a human.
